Amboseli National Park
Classified as one of the Prime game parks by Kenya Wildlife Service, Amboseli is a gem in the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The 392sq km game park sits on the slop of Mt. Kilimanjaro at the border of Kenya and Tanzania. With the Mountain in the backdrop, the plains of Amboseli plays host to some of the largest Savanna elephants in Kenya .big herds of elephants consisting of 50 to 70 can be spotted here. Supported by natural springs of water, Amboseli National park is one of the best places for sunset photo shoots. Cheetah, lion and many hyena can also be seen on the salt flats or in the forests. Giraffe, zebra and wildebeest are always spotted on the open plains or congregating at the edge of the swamps.
Other Attractions here include the seasonal Lake Amboseli with its never ending whirlwinds forming during dry seasons.
